I have a strong passion for flying. I dont know for sure, because i have not piloted a real plane yet. I have been flying simulators (Fss and fsx) for many many years now. Ever since i was a little kid…ever since i hit puberty i think lol.

Anyway’s I am watching topgun as you read and man I am so interested, It makes mee feel like joining the airforce and being the best. I do like flying and i know these fighters are the most aerodynamic and fastest flying machines that man can pilot. I also like transporting as in commercial use… like i wanted to be an airline pilot. I want to fly the 747.

Currently studying aerospace engineering and I am wondering if after i finish this, to go to flight school or join the army and learn flying for free? If I join the armed forces I want to be pilot and nothing else, I want ot pilot JETS, not helicopters.

Also do they have a hard life in the bootcamp /training process? Like i think of army i think of bootcamp and screaming and angry guys shouting at you. I am scared of that… i dont want to live that hard of a life…

I’m trying to land an F18 on a carrier and the guy keeps telling me to maintain a speed of 130 knots. I see the fighter jets in formation when the computers do it, how do they maintain a constant speed of exactly 130 knots?

Is there a place to go and fly fighter jets with my joystick, that has the same quality and is as enjoyable as this game….

Apparently until June of this year you could dogfight online with this game I already have @ GameZone.com

Any help would be appreciated, a site I can go to to fight for free online (dogfight with jets)

I have a 13 year old boy that absolutely loves anything to do with fighter jets and flying. He wants to be a pilot and fly fighter jets in the military someday. He has a PlayStation 3 and I would like to know if anyone knows of any kind of flight simulator or game that he may enjoy for the PlayStation 3? Thanks!

Hello. OK i remember when i was about 7 or 8 playing a game on the computer. It was sometime in the 1990s It came with a joy stick of some sort for controls. at least i think so but i think i used the keyboard instead because i couldnt figure out how to use it. It was a flight game where you shoot robots or something. I remeber this one level your in a giant circular place and there are robots in the middle, (i dont know if they were robots. im basing this off of what i can remember from 10 years ago) and you had to shoot them. It wasnt a flight simulator game, but more of a combat one. also the graphics were in 3d there were good graphics, and you never left your airplane at least i think so. im pretty sure the entire game was in a jet fighter of some sort. and when playing the game you could see the airplane it wasnt a view of the cockpit, but you could adjust it to play in the cockpit, i never did cause i didnt like the view. please help! if someone gets this, i would APPRICIATE IT SOOOO MUCH i wana buy the game and take trip down memory lane again =)

Any good flight simulators or video games with modern aircraft. Preferably military fighter jets instead of just a basic plane, and if its for pc is it possible to plug in an xbox 360 controller instead of buying a joystick? If not what kinds of joysticks are good?
